If you’ve been thinking of buying or selling in Maricopa County, or are simply curious about what’s happening in our real estate market, today’s update is for you.
People always ask me what’s going on in our market, and since it’s been a while since our last update, I thought I’d share my answer with all of you today.
First of all, inventory is a little bit low at the moment. This gives sellers a slight advantage, but only barely considering the other circumstances at play. Buyers, too, have plenty of leverage at the moment. Prices are very favorable, considering the size of our market, and interest rates aren’t likely to rise any time soon. This means buying a home continues to be quite affordable, despite the fact that we’re somewhat short on listings.
However, seasonality will also influence how your real estate deal plays out. It takes about 15 days longer than usual for homes to sell during the fall, so be mindful of this as you enter our market.
All in all, though, now is the time to make a move while conditions remain as strong as they are. Opportunities are abundant for buyers and sellers alike.
If you have any other questions, would like more information, or are curious about how I can assist you with your real estate goals, feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
